We must evaluate the safety of our products if our consumers are to use them with complete confidence. Thanks to our investment in research over 30 years, we are able to evaluate their safety without relying on animals. In other words, we do not test on animals any of the 5.7 BILLION products sold per year. As for our ingredients, it’s only when there is no other way to predict an adverse effect that we must resort to animal testing, which represents less than 1% of safety assessments. But our ambition is to replace the need for any animal testing.
